de Coimbra. Comecei a fotografar surf, talvez por gostar de movimento, da luz e da imprevisibilidade. Com o tempo, passei para retratos e, mais tarde, para casamentos, onde encontrei tudo o que me inspira: pessoas verdadeiras, emoções genuínas e momentos cheios de beleza simples.

Gosto de observar em silêncio e fotografar com atenção. Procuro criar imagens que contem a verdade de cada instante, com naturalidade e simplicidade.

I’m Ruben

from Coimbra. I started photographing surf, maybe because I’ve always been drawn to movement, light, and unpredictability. Over time, I turned to portraits and, later, to weddings, where I found everything that inspires me: real people, genuine emotions, and moments filled with quiet beauty.

I like to observe quietly and photograph with intention. I aim to create images that tell the truth of each moment, natural, simple, and real.
